Two army officers and two civilians at a military event, likely at Mitcham Camp. A researcher has suggested that the officer on the far left is Lieutenant Arthur Francis Lindsary Harper, Adjutant of Mitcham Camp, standing next to Major Walter Leslie Stuart, the second Commandant of Mitcham Camp, and in the centre, South Australian Governor Sir Henry Galway in civilian clothing and holding a cane, rather than wearing his usual British military uniform.
