St John's Spiritual Church, Carrington Street, south side, 19th June 1964. E.E. Mack is listed as the Hon. Secretary. Left side of the building is 14 1/2 yards west of Cardwell Street ; frontage: 14 1/2 yards. The Spiritual Society was formed in 1883 and the Adelaide Spiritual Church formed in 1893. St John's Spiritual Church opened in Victoria Square moved to Carrington Street in 1924. "The Harbinger of Light" was a magazine offering psychical research, spiritualism and spiritual philosophy and was strongly connected to St John's Spiritual Church

Halifax Street, south side, 20th March 1964, left side of the building is 97 yards west of Hallett Street and frontage is 11 yards. The Halifax-Gilles Street site was used as a refuse destructor for Adelaide. The machinery was capable of incinerating 60 tons of refuse a day. The complex also included a clinker and mortar mill, flag making plant, hydraulic tin-balling press, a ten ton weighbridge and a steam disinfector. In 1952 the land fill refuse was moved to Wingfield and the Halifax Street site continued to be used as a Council works depot until the 1990s.

Southcott Pty Limited was founded in Adelaide in 1886 as a general engineering business by two brothers, James and Albert Southcott.

Union Street, North Adelaide, east side, February 12th 1935, frontage of centre cottage is 7 yards. The little cottage in the centre stands on the South West corner of the Acre, its far side being 70 yards from Pennington Terrace. The cottage was demolished in 1935. See B 6804.

North west corner of Poole Street and Kermode Street, May 18th 1938, Kermode Street frontage is 14 yards and Poole Street frontage is 35 yards. The entire frontage of the Poole Street wall is not shown on photograph. For a view of flats erected in 1939 see B 9537. A telephone box and a stobie pole stand on the corner. Stobie poles were designed and patented by James Cyril Stobie of the Adelaide Electricity Supply Company in 1925.

Ebenezer Chapel, Bower Street, west side, 1932. The chapel was the first purpose built Baptist Chapel built in South Australia. It sits between Bower Street and Brougham Place, North Adelaide. The foundation stone was laid in 1843.
