Charles Edward (Tom) King
PORTRAIT: Charles Edward (Tom) King, died 6th May 1976: a well-known Adelaide pianist-composer-arranger who had a long association with the ABC and played the Wurlitzer organ in the old Regent Theatre. He wrote the music for Sir Robert Helpmann's first ballet 'A La Russe' and was resident pianist at the Olde Kings Music Hall from 1968 to 1975 when it was destroyed by fire.
