Sir William Milne
Sir William Milne was born near Glasgow and sailed for South Australia in 1839. He became a successful wine and spirit merchant. In 1857 he was elected to the South Australian House of Assembly, then later transferred to the Legislative Council. He married Eliza Disher and had six daughters and three suns. They lived at "Sunnyside", Glen Osmond
