Black smoke billows from a badly damaged building during the last stages of a major fire; the building appears to be gutted and as it advertises "Gargoyle" mobiloils was probably used to store inflammable materials. According to one researcher, this is in Todd Street, Port Adelaide Another researcher confirms that this is definitely Todd St. For an earlier view see B10742. The fire in the Vacuum Oil Co's store is reported in the 'Daily Herald' 16 January 1916, p6.
