Kidman Entrance, Wayville Showgrounds Donated by the Kidman family in memory of Sir Sidney Kidman, the Kidman Gates initially stood on the Goodwood Road entrance in front of Centennial Hall, where on 13 September 1937 they were opened by the Lieutenant Governor, Sir George Murray During the Showgrounds redevelopment in 2007/2008 they were moved to the northern Rose Terrace entrance.

This mosaic includes a portrait of Governor Sir John Hindmarsh above 58 portraits, and the handwritten names of the colonists are listed under the ships they arrived in on both sides of the portraits.

The 'Alpha', composite paddle steamer, above Renmark. A researcher has indicated that this vessel is the Jolly Miller. The dome of the boiler can be seen rising through the floor of the upper deck, just forward of the wheelhouse, which is consistent with the description of the Jolly Miller.
