According to a researcher, it is a 150 ton capacity Giant Cantilever, Hammerhead crane by Clyde Engineering, Sydney 1941-3 Original steelwork by BHP Newcastle lost at sea ca.1942. Replacement steelwork provided by Goninan, Newcastle ca.1942. Dismantled mid 1980s.
