An album and scrapbook initially kept by Jane McColl, daughter of James Ramsay McColl, showing the family and family home 'Largs Villa' at Woodville, her father and his employees in the marine plumbing business at Port Adelaide, and her brothers and cousins, some of whom found work on coastal steamers around Australia, including ports in Queensland, Sydney, Albany and Wyndham in Western Australia. The album was lent for copying and the State Library does not hold the original.

Hardcover postcard album containing glossy printed copies of lithographic prints depicting various significant buildings and scenes in and around Adelaide. The red hard cover features a relief embossing of a version of the Australian Coat of Arms, and an image of Government House on the front. Handwritten script inside the rear cover reads 'Laddie with love from Auntie Jessie, Adelaide, August /94 [1894]'.

A large group of older Aboriginal men. They may have come to this place for the distribution of rations, as the men sitting in the front row have tin cans beside them. All the men are wearing western dress and have beards. Two white men wearing hats are standing at the back, under a verandah on the right hand side of the group. This is probably a companion image to B 47072/167 showing a large group of Aboriginal women and children.

Large return verandah villa with four young boys standing in the garden with a nursemaid, who is holding the hand of a toddler. The boys are wearing knickerbockers, long socks and smock like shirts. The house is a large bluestone return verandah villa with French doors, and iron lace, characteristic of houses found in Adelaide and some regional centres of South Australia in the latter part of the nineteenth century.

Sixty three members of the 10th Garrison Artillery in training camp at Fort Largs. Following the decision to place all military forces in khaki uniforms the 10th Garrison Artillery conducted a funeral in the afternoon of Tuesday 25 March 1913 for their old uniform of blue with a red stripe down the trousers. The sign near the headstone reads 'To the memory of the blue'.
