Tarcoola, two fully loaded camels, and part of the load of a third in lower left. On the ground behind them is a wild turkey (bustard) (Ardeotis australis) a large ground bird of grassland, woodland and open agricultural country across northern Australia. Taken sometime between 1900-1902.

Labelled 'Teetulpa 1887'. H C Swan S M (left) and Warden Lionel C E Gee (right) sitting in an upholstered two-horse carriage, in front of a substantial galvanized iron building. Three unknown men are standing under the building's verandah. H C Swan presided at the Police Court held at Teetulpa, and listened to a large deputation of men wanting liquor licences to be issued for Teetulpa.

'The leper' in Vietnam

A sign 'the leper' on one of the Centurion tanks in Vietnam. The 'tank crews named their tank "the Leper" because no-one wanted to be on it. This tank had driven over land mines twice and had a large crack in the base, to which the engineers had welded a steel plate'. (This photo is part of a collection taken by Alex Polotnianka during a tour of duty with the Army in Vietnam.)

Trucks outside Alf Hannaford & Co., Port Road Woodville '[Alf Hannaford and Co.] make machines for all size farms and they also have a large and well-equipped grading service with a fleet of motor trucks and trained operators to treat farmers' wheat on their farms, which, with a small outlay to the wheat grower results in a bushel to two bushels an acre more gathered from carefully graded and pickled seed.' Wedding portrait of 'Ern' (Herbert Ernest) Hall and Daisy Nash with their bridal party, friends and family. They were married on 24 April 1907 at St Bartholomew's Church, Norwood, by the Rev. Canon Andrews. Clara Denford Black, mother of Marjorie Andrew, was bridesmaid, standing on the left side next to the groom, holding a large bouquet of flowers and wearing a black hat. The group is gathered outdoors, in a garden.
