She married Ross Duncan McCallum in Millicent, and as Mr McCallum played the pipes, the couple were given a guard of honour by the Millicent pipe band. Charlotte was a qualified tailoress and tatted her head dress above the veil. She wore the dress on loan from a friend, Jean Marks, who lived in Tantanoola. Charlotte McCallum died in 2008.
