Goolwa wharf. The port was one of Australia's most important river ports. The wharf was built in 1852 and later extended and rebuilt several times.The paddle steamer "Moira" is moored at the wharf alongside a sailing boat and a river barge

Church of the Holy Evangelist

Church of the Holy Evangelist was opened in 1868. This limestone church had its clock tower and spire completed by 1905.The second photograph shown is of the Flour Mill at Goolwa. This steam flour mill was offered for sale in 1858 by the Crawford Brothers and they stated that with plenty of wheat in the district and the railway it was a paying concern
