A fractal generator may have been used, in conjunction with other software and assorted manipulation techniques to create a sequence of images or multiple iterations of the image design. Small photograph album with brass clasp with carte de visite photographs of Alfred, Duke of Edinburgh and members of his party who visited South Australia in 1867 on the 'Galatea', made up by Caroline Louisa Turton, daughter of Sir Dominick Daly. Inside the album is written in pencil: 'Mother's book of Naval friends when in S. Australia, officers of the Galatea &c - Prince Alfred, Queen Victoria's son who visited Adelaide in HMS 'Galatea' in Nov 1867'. A few photographs relate to the visit of H.M.S. 'Falcon' and H.M.S. 'Curacoa in 1865. Some are photographs of wives of officers, and a few are of Turton relatives in the Royal Navy. Some photographs had been placed between pairs of photographs and have been numbered with an 'A' and now housed separately. See MORE INFO 'Contents' for details.

Aftermath of collision between a motor car (Buick tourer, ca 1918) owned and driven by James Jeremiah Daly, grazier, of Medway Street, Fullarton Estate, and a horse drawn masher dray, owned and driven by Charles Jiggins, driver, of Gladstone Avenue, Chicago, on Montiefiore Road at 7.00pm on Friday 3 August 1923. Other occupants of the dray were, Florence Jiggins and Cornelius Jiggins.

Diary of Charles Johnston

Diary kept by Charlie Johnston while station master at the Daly Waters telegraph station. The almost daily entries chronicle his day-to-day activities, including interaction with the local Aborigines. The main diary runs from 16 March 1872 to 6 October 1873, including working on the Overland Telegraph Line with references to Charles Todd, and a folio page covering the period 16 June 1875 - 28 June 1875. The last entry (Monday 29 June 1875) is written in another hand detailing Johnston's death following a spearing. A ditigal transcript is available.
