Christies Beach
A northern coastal view of Christies Beach taken from what may be the front yard of a house on the Esplanade. It is a sunny day, and the water is very blue and calm. There is a cargoe ship just off the coast and a pale green Holden 48-215 (early 1950's) parked on the road in front of the yard.

A casual family group photograph taken in the front garden of 'Lorne Cottage', Christies Beach. The cottage is situated on the Esplanade and the ocean can be clearly seen in the background. The family group is made up of twelve people ranging from a young boy (approx. four years old) through to his grandparents. They are dressed for Summer, with two of the men only in shorts leaning against a sailing dinghy.


Port Noarlunga-Christies Beach Unit
View of the Port Noarlunga-Christies Beach Fire Unit ("Old 2108"), constructed from an obsolete passenger coach and presented by Mr. A.R. Biscoe. Many thousands of dollars were saved by this Unit during its period of service.

Harry Moate completed adult Year 12 in 1989 and gained a Bachelor of Education (secondary Technical and Industrial Arts). Christies Beach High School was Harry Moate's first teacher placement in 1994.

[Yippee! Christies Beach High School adult students celebrate the end of exams with a traditional throw away of class notes. About 90 people returned to school as mature-age pupils this year, some scoring top marks in matriculation] 21st December 1988.

White family photographs
A collection of photographs relating to the life of Frank William Nelson White (1903-1970) and his wife Ruby Alice (nee Sharpe). White lived in Norwood and served as both councillor and mayor on the Norwood Council in the 1940s and 1950s.
