Includes information on Holden features in the FC, such as two tone exterior and interior on the Special, new 'fin ornament' on the rear fenders, Aerobilt construction, hydraulic clutch, pendant floor pedals, higher compression 21 h.p. engine, 12-volt electrical system, key-turn start, positive action hand-brake linkage and improved suspension system. Includes illustrations of the rear seat fold-down process to expose cargo space in the Station Sedans. Also contains feature pages on optional NASCO accessories and Air Chief radio. PORTRAIT: Elizabeth Holden (nee Mason) from a miniature on ivory. Elizabeth was the mother of Thomas Alexander Holden who started the J. A. Holden & Co. business which led to GM Holden Ltd. She was also Dame Nancy Buttfield's great great grandmother. Elizabeth married Edward Holden in 1820. Edward was born 14 April 1796, at Walsall, England.

Edward Thomas Holden of Walsall, England. He was born in April 1796, and married Elizabeth (nee Mason) in 1820. They had 10 children, before Elizabeth died in 1835 (aged 36). Edward owned a successful saddlery business in Walsall, and was the Mayor of Walsall. One of Edward ad Elizabeth's children was Thomas Alexander Holden, who started the J. A. Holden & Co. business which led to GM Holden Ltd. Edward married Eliza Brittell in April 1938; he died in May of 1851.

Brass die featuring a brocade pattern, used to produce the upholstery patterning on the interior door trim of the Holden HT Premier between 1969 and 1970. The item was collected by Mr Wally Clarebrough, a former long serving employee in GMH management who served as Export Manager. Includes a felt covered frame [4.8 x 37.7 cm] which was originally used to mount this particular die on display.
