Has explanatory text with summary of findings.

The location of the intended Botanic Gardens is indicated on the western side of the City between two roads to Port Adelaide. A cemetery and market place are shown in the parklands adjacent to West Terrace and south west of the city are two roads to Holdfast Bay. The hospital is in the parklands adjacent to East Terrace and in North Adelaide a storehouse and school can be found.

Map of the lower part of South Australia from Fowlers Bay in the west to Discovery Bay in the east, with notes on vegetation and topography and comments such as 'natives seen' near Coffin Bay, and 'met Le Geographe coming from the S.E.' in Encounter Bay near the mouth of the Murray. This map is based on the surveys of Matthew Flinders and Col. William Light. Relief shown by hachures and bathymetric soundings.

Three sepia-toned photograph albums, each with the title 'Inverness, McLaren Vale' on the cover, with a total of 65 gelatin silver photographs. The albums have dimensions 15.5 x 24 cm, and are bound in half calf and cloth. The first album includes detailed captions, and the second and third albums are dated March 1916 and 1st March 1919, respectively.
