Port Willunga jetty after a gale in 1915. The photograph shows a rough sea and the jetty split in half by the storm. A note on the back of post card as follows: "Dear Edith, I thought I would send you a view of the poor old jetty the last gale broke away up to the cross... so you can see there is not much jetty left. They talk about building another one someday...".

It will be built nearer to Mr Martin's place. The Government are drawing up plans for the new one and getting prices for it. We are having a lot of rain this winter. Rail lines run the length of the jetty to a crane placed at the end. A wooden fence runs around the edge of the beach with steps leading down to the sand.

Two steam ships were used for this purpose - SS Ceres and SS Protector. The jetty appears to be divided into two parts with a narrow walkway between the two

Willunga township. This photograph was taken from the same position as B 7193, but looking down the hill to '5' corner at the bottom. Road to Adelaide turns right and road to Aldinga turns half left at tree beyond houses. Lamp posts can be seen lining one side of the road.
