[General description] A display of electric motors, arranged as for an exhibition with two men who are probably demonstrating. [On back of photograph] 'Electric motors 5 hp, 10 hp & 25 hp / Manufactured by Wallaroo and Moonta Mining and Smelting Co. Ltd. at Wallaroo Mines / 1917-18'.

David Bower and Co. of Wallaroo built the large building in the background in 1874 who operated a timber business. In 1875 he sold this business to Rossiter and Davies.
