Series 014: Aerial view of the Adelaide Children's Hospital
Aerial view of the Adelaide Children's Hospital, later the Women's and Children's Hospital. The main hospital site is bounded by King William Road, Kermode Street, Edwin Smith Avenue and Brougham Place, North Adelaide. The oldest building is the Angas Building, opened in 1893. Next to it is the second oldest building, the Alan Campbell Building, opened in 1897. Top left of the image is the Memorial Hospital. The Cathedral Hotel can be seen on the corner of King William Road and Kermode Street. A drop centre tram is rounding the bend in King William Road.

Ballet Russes performance in Adelaide : unidentified performance
Photographs taken by D. Darian Smith of a Convent Garden Russian Ballet (Ballet Russes) performance at the Theatre Royal in Adelaide. This was part of the Company's second tour of Australia which covered the period September 1938 to April 1939 (with the Adelaide perfomances at the end of the tour). This particular ballet has not been identified at this time.

Series 063: Motorboat Championship of Australia race
Photographs of the Motorboat Championship of Australia, Griffith Cup race, held at Outer Harbour on 20th March 1926. The boat 'Tortoise II', owned by brothers Arthur Graham Rymill and Ernest Seymour Rymill, is featured in several images. A crowd of spectators can be seen on the wharf. One image of two young children is also included in the set of photographs, unrelated to the motorboat race.


Series 068: Berri Growers Co-operative Distillery
Aerial photographs of Berri Growers Co-operative Distillery Company, later Berri Co-operative Winery and Berri Estates, on the Old Sturt Highway. The property comprises a number of buildings, largely made of corrugated iron, and large tanks next to each building. A water tower is in the middle of the premises, and two small rectangular ponds sit behind the buildings.
