A reinforced concrete road bridge in South Australia. According to a researcher this is the Millbrook bridge or the now demolished bridge near Chain of Ponds built ca.1916 to carry the deviation of the road to Gumeracha around the Millbrook Reservoir, finished in 1918. Another researcher believes 'it was built by the S.A. Reinforced Concrete Company, an enterprise which had been estbalished by [Sir] John Monash in 1906. North 'affected a tasteful costume of white and helio' and South were in 'red, white, and blue'. South were too strong, winning the game 4 goals, 13 behinds, to North's 3 behinds.
