Women playing football on Jubilee Oval, Adelaide. A fund raising game played on 21 September 1918. The Register reported (23 Sept., 1918, p7) that the teams were made up of players from North of the GPO, and South of the GPO. North 'affected a tasteful costume of white and helio' and South were in 'red, white, and blue'. South were too strong, winning the game 4 goals, 13 behinds, to North's 3 behinds.
