The paddle steamer 'Maggie' moored near a stack of wood on the banks of the Murray River at Morgan. [The 'Maggie' was owned by Captain Henry Theisz in the 1880s. He drowned at Bourke in 1887 when he was washed overboard from another paddle steamer he owned, the 'Maude'. Information from Adrian Barnard.]. According to a researcher, it is possible this vessel was also owned by an Archie McInnes in the early 1900s. It was customary to attach young children to the vessels to stop them going overboard.
