Victoria Square: The premises of the Harbor's Board offices in Victoria Square, Adelaide. A researcher, who formerly worked for the Harbor's Board from 1959 to 1964, has provided the following information: draftsmen worked in a timber framed, brick front, single storey building annex, located on the vacant land adjacent to the old building, which housed three sections: survey, civil and mechanical engineering. This annex was demolished, as was the original Harbors Board building, in 1979, but the facade of the original building was preserved and moved 34 metres north of its original site to make way for the SGIC building.
