He didn't play in this match). The missing Australians (two of whom would be batting) are therefore H.V. Hordern, W.W. Armstrong, V.T. Trumper, R.B. Minnett and T.J. Matthews.

A researcher has identified the following family members: third daughter Vera Eleanor (1893-1975) is sitting at the extreme left holding an infant; standing from the right of the decorated pole are second daughter Esther May, 1891-1984; her uncle George Moulds; an unidentified woman; eldest daughter Beatrice Alice, later Rother, 1889-1980, (in white); granddaughter Betsy Spencer. later Badenoch, 1896-1979; daughter-in-law Eleanor Louisa, nee Rowland, 1865-1949, (dark dress); and eldest son William Robert, 1864-1955, (prominent white collar).
