According to a researcher, Aiston Park Pottery was a workshop active in Adelaide from 1978, when it was first registered as a business name, to 1998, when the company was liquidated. Mark Heidenreich was a master potter there in the first half of the 1980s. Evidence suggests that a number of South Australian potters trained there, including Geoffrey Tarr (1981-1986), Simon Butler (1987-88) and Cathy Franzi (late 1980s).
