Portrait of Mrs Sabina Sandford, nee Baldock, of Gawler holding a posy, seated at the 'old house' (not in picture), of her brother William David Baldock on the River flats at Morgan. Her husband John Henry Sandford had died in Dargo, Victoria in 1878 and she returned to South Australia. Her second marriage was to William Murchland in 1883. Sabina Baldock arrived on the ship 'Fairfield' in December 1840 and died 1912 at Birkenhead.
