Cobb's coach at Accallana Well
An abandoned Cobb & Co coach at Accallana Well. A note with the photo reads 'dumped used to be dragged by camels across Cobbler Desert'. However Benny Kerwin, a "half caste" Yandruwandha man from Innamincka, drove the Farina to Innamincka Cobb & Co. mail coach as a teenager. In approximately 1906-1907 he was crossing Accalana crossing, Strzelecki creek and the horses bolted, causing the mail coach to crash. For sometime after that he carried the mail by packhorse.
