Summary

Photograph of several items displayed in window No.1 at the Rundle Street store for the BP England-Australia Commemorative Air Race in December 1969. The window commemorates the first flight from England to Australia by Ross and Keith Smith in 1919. It includes the Ross Smith stamp and date stamp (far left), the three cachet applied to a portion of the Vimy mail (left) and a proof of the date stamp. Also includes a copy of the 10,000 pound cheque awarded to the Vimy crew.
