No. 513 Ross Leonard Pledge, was born 14 January 1888 at Marryatville, South Australia, the youngest child of William and Eliza Pledge, nee Gates. Ross married Ethel Wakefield on 31 December 1913 at North Adelaide. He enlisted on 1 June 1916 and was posted to the 5th Machine Gun Battalion, 8th Machine Gun Company. He returned to Australia in 1919 and died at Keswick, South Australia, on 30 August 1949.

O'Dea died at No.2 Australian Casualty Clearing Station, Belgium, on 9 May 1917, of gun shot wound to right shoulder, 9 May 1917. He was buried in Trois-Arbres Cemetery at Steenwerck in northern France.

No.200 Private James Curran Woods, A Company, 43rd Infantry Battalion, was born in Broken Hill, New South Wales, in 1891. He enlisted in Adelaide, South Australia, on 14 January 1916 and arrived in France on 20 July 1916. He returned to Adelaide on 29 June 1919 and was discharged from the AIF on 25 May 1920, medically unfit. James died in Broken Hill on 14 March 1923 as a result of complications arising from his war service. He is buried in the Roman catholic portion of the Broken Hill cemetery.
