L/Cpl Robert Henry Stringer

No. 2366 L/Cpl Robert 'Henry' Stringer of the 3rd Light Horse Regiment. The eldest child of Stephen and Emma Stringer, Henry was born at Mundoora. He enlisted on 19 December 1915 and served in the Middle East with the 3rd Light Horse Regiment. He returned to Australia 21 June 1919. The inset photo is a copy from the photo beside him on the desk and is most probably his mother, Emma.
