The ships depicted are identified (from left) 'David' (204 tons), 'Henry Porcher' (510 tons), 'Goshawk' (245 tons), 'Eden' (327 tons) and "Emerald Isle" (501 tons). From the original sketch by Colonel Light. The sketch would date from ca. 24 July - 9 August 1838, according to the dates of the voyage. Artwork by _uriel Light (beginning letter abraded).
