Bonsor, William, 1934, Photograph, B 74582
Digital copy of a black and white photograph of a group of six women, dressed in 'the latest fashion, 1934'. Another caption reads 'taken at Lock 9, some girlfriends and myself. Ollie[?]'. A researcher has suggested that this photograph may have been taken at Lock 7, which was completed at the end of 1934. William James Bonsor married Olive (Ollie) Christina Adams at the end of 1928 while working at Lock 4. The Bonsors and the Adams families were all employed at Lock 7 in 1934.
