Half-plate glass negative of two nurses associated with the Kingston and Moorook branck of the South Australian District Trained Nursing Society. They are standing in a hall on either side of a table in front of signs, 'A.M.A. Welcome. Kingston D.T.N.S. Moorook. Au-revoir 'A.W.' 'A.W.', right, is Anne Wallen. An account of the occasion in the newspaper Murray Pioneer and Australian River Record, 13 May 1921 (which does not include an image) reports that Nurse Wallen was presented with an inscribed wristlet watch and a silver purse and card case, both of which are depicted on the table. 'A.M.A' is Ada May Alcorn, later Twiss.
