E.C. (Ted) Wegener on a Harley Davidson

Ted Wegener and his brother W. (Bill) Wegener on the record breaking Harley Davidson that they rode from Adelaide to Melbourne in 24 hours 22 minutes on 6 November 1919. The Wageners built Bluebell and Blue Spec motorcycles from the 1900s and also operated a wreckers yard on Glen Osmond Road into the 1960s. The date of the image may be around or prior to their marriage in May 1905. Rose McKabe in the other sidecar. She married Alf Moyle (the photographer) in 1910.
