According to a researcher, this vessel may actually be the 'P.S Cato', which was the 'P.S Pilot''s sister ship. The curve from the raised forecastle to normal deck height being a clue, as the Pilot lacked this. Also the lack of a diamond spark arrester on the stack being the other giveaway - something the 'P.S. Pilot' had from beginning to the end of its working life.
