An unusual piece, perhaps better described as a sculpture, features four panels organised into an interlocking puzzle and adhered to a black background panel. Each panel relates to the other in its decoration. Swirling colours of green and pink create a marbled effect. The artist has used fine application of colour as close inspection reveals minute details in the marbling. It is possible the four panels were part of a larger painting or experimental work that was cut down. The artist may have used a technique which incorporates blowing air through a straw to move colour across the picture plane.
