A group of men of men at Clare railway station, with a new 'Barwell Bull' railcar. Information from a researcher: 'February 1924 when Sir Henry Barwell invited Members of Parliament on a demonstration run to show-off the new Brill Model 55 railcar prior to its commencement of a regular passenger service to Clare, that commenced the following week. The tall figure on the left, walking towards the railcar is probably the Chief Commissioner of Railways W. A. Webb. These railcars as delivered were blue and lined out in primrose with gold leaf'.
