Photograph of a demonstration of glass blowing in the North West Annexe, at the old Exhibition grounds at the 4th South Australian Chamber of Manufacturers Exhibition, March-April 1910, with visitors crowded around the barriers watching. An article in the Daily Herald, Adelaide, reported that the plant was installed by the Adelaide Glass Bottle Works of Kilkenny, and there were two blowers employed together with the juniors to manipulate the mould, clean the bottles, and pass them into the furnace to be gradually cooled down. Demonstrations of glass blowing had previously been given at the Exhibition, but this was the first occasion upon which a complete plant had been on view.
