Following the decision to place all military forces in khaki uniforms the 10th Garrison Artillery conducted a funeral in the afternoon of Tuesday 25 March 1913 for their old uniform of blue with a red stripe down the trousers. The sign near the headstone reads 'To the memory of the blue'.
