A South Australian army camp

A South Australian army camp

Horses, soldiers and tents at a South Australian army camp, believed to be the New Brighton Camp. [The camp was south of Wheatland Street on the sea side of Brighton Road, in the area now known as Seacliff. The terrace houses visible in the background are still standing in Wheatland Street.] The two men on the right of the trio facing the camera appear to be the same men seen in PRG 280/1/3/133 - the one in the centre of the former is standing on the far right of the latter image; the one on the right in the former is the one seated far right on the ground (R. Duncan).
