Identified on the original as distant view of a party of men standing on a causeway at a beach near Port Julia on the Yorke Peninsula, South Australia; they have arrived by small craft from a larger vessel out at sea and may be visitors from Canada. Advice received notes: This appears to be Pine Point about 15 kms away (from Port Julia) as the distant curve of Black Point can be seen on the right. In Neville Collins's 2010 (2nd edition) book on the Jetties of South Australia (page 102) he shows this exact picture as being from Pine Point and he dates it as 1904 from the collection of Ron Blum.
