It is possible that the South Australian on the left, waiting for the tap, is rover Ivor Nicolle from Sturt. The TFL were the victors in this match. Number 1 is H. Gorringe for Tasmania. This record previously said it was a Tasmanian State team, however a researcher has pointed out that at the time in Tasmania there was the TFL, which comprised of teams from the south including Hobart, NTFA (Northern Tasmanian Football Association), and NWFU (North West Football Union).
