A nine year old red bear taking figs from the mouth of a woman identified as Gladys Callum, a Fellow of the Zoological Society; the bear is sitting on its hindquarters with one paw resting on the arm of Gladys Callum as she bends over to allow it to take the fruit, creating a study in mutual trust between beast and human; location not known, possibly in South Australia.
