The presentation of the 1921 Melbourne Cup in 1922, won by Sister Olive. The Governor- General Lord Forster [right] is presenting the trophy to the winning owner Mr F. W. Norman. The Melbourne Cup is a gold trophy, usually 24ct. The distinctive design is a stemmed three-handled Loving Cup.
