The iron barque 'Santa', 979 tons, docked in an unidentified port [iron 3 mast barque, 979 tons, ON91056, 205.8 x 33.6 x 19.6 Built 1886 (6) R Thompson and Sons, Sunderland. Owners: Turner, Edwards and Co., registered Bristol. By the end of 1890s J & J Rae and Co., registered Liverpool. c.1908 sold Italian without change of name and boken up in 1923].

This image is from the A.D. Edwardes Collection of about 8,000 photographs, mostly of sailing ships from around the world, taken between about 1865 and 1920.
