Item 1: Men and locomotives.
Three men wearing suits and hats stand in front of two locomotives, one of which is lying on its side on the tracks. The man in the midle is Railways Commissioner James McGuire. At this time he was the 'junior' commisioner to Chief Commissioner William Alfred Webb who had taken over the position in November 1912.
Item 2: Locomotives after crash.
One locomotive lies on its side in front of another which is upright but damaged.
