Summary

[General description] A panoramic view across the rooftops showing tree lined North Terrace with parked cars, a tram and mainly residential buildings. The recently completed Kelvin Building with its fire escape visible dwarfs the older houses and obscures Scots Church. The distant building, far right, was the Grand Central Hotel on the south east corner of Rundle and Pulteney Streets which closed in 1924. The left side of that building is Foy and Gibson's department store. [On back of photograph] 'Acres 22,23,24 / North Terrace, looking east from the Museum building. / 1925-27'.
