Summary

[General description] Commercial Street in Mount Gambier showing various businesses including a confectionery shop, bakery, Fidler Webb Store, Watsons, Hotel, and the Post Office. Pony and traps and carts wait outside shops and ornate lamp stands line the street. [On back of photograph] Commercial Street Mt. Gambier. Before 1893 Post Office removed to Bay Road before 1893. According to information from Mr. L. Hill, Mt. Gambier, this is dated 1886.
