Historical information

Note on backing board: 'Early (student) sketch by Gus A. Barnes, of a farm cottage on Gilles Plains, early 1900. Many such cottages once occupied holdings along the North East Road from OG Road to Tea Tree Gully. This sketch was formerly in the possession of Robert Limb, who himself lived on the North East Road about a mile or so beyond the Windsor Hotel (south side). R.L. was associated with GA Barnes's people in plaster wotk. A twin brother of K. Limb founded "Victor" Plaster Co.
