Summary

[General description] A crowd of people is standing on the verandah of a nineteenth century stone house with twin bow windows and gables, which has been converted to a hospital. It may have been the house of Doctor Woods named 'Glengables'. The lady in white in the centre is possibly the Matron. [On back of photograph] 'Reproduced in the Observer, Oct. 3, 1925 / Clarendon Hospital / Opening ceremony / Sep. 1925'.
