Summary

Cape Borda Lighthouse, located on the north west cape of Kangaroo Island. This unusal square-shaped lighthouse was commissioned on 13th July 1858. Built from limestone, it can be seen for kilometres out to sea. It was manned up until 1989, when it was converted to automatic operation. A group of men stand outside the entrance.
