The Thousand Voices Choir drawn from public schools in the Adelaide metropolitan area gave their annual series of concerts in the Jubilee Exhibition Building on three nights, the 27th, 28th and 29th of September 1922. A large sign that reads 'Lest we forget' hangs from a balcony.

Collection of silver albumen photographs, most loose, contained in a 'post card album'. Believed to have been taken (or collected in some cases) by F.C. Krichauff, who worked as a photographer in South Australia. The majority of the photographs are of buildings in Adelaide, but also include English and European buildings , believed to have been take during an overseas visit in 1882 - neither have been copied. See 'contents' for details of individual photographs.

Series 012: Roman Catholic Eucharistic Congress Celebration at the Jubilee Oval

The 1928 Eucharistic Congress Celebration at the Jubilee Oval, corner of Frome Road and Victoria Drive. Photographs taken from the air from various directions. The international Eucharistic Congress was held in Sydney, and this event was the local Adelaide celebration. The Jubilee Oval hosted large sporting and other events, including the Royal Agricultural and Horticultural Society Shows. It was operational from 1895-1945. University of Adelaide buildings and the Exhibition Building can be seen in some of the images.

Royal Agricultural and Horticultural Society Show, September 1901. The oval appears in the foreground, the Impressive Jubilee Exhibition Building is in the background. The main two storey building was designed in the classical Beaux Arts style with stucco decorations. A lookout tower offered panoramic views across Adelaide. At the rear of the building a flight of stairs connected it to the grounds below. One of the Exhibition's two fountains now stands in the Rundle Mall.

The occasion was the Professional Musicians Orchestra 6th Annual Concert 1918, assembled by Thomas Grigg in aid of Minda Home.
